About

Lukas M. Lang holds a Master degree in Economics from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg and Södertörn University Stockholm. Prior to his current position at UTN, he worked as a project assistant at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) and as a PhD student and research assistant at the Chair of Economic Theory at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Energie Campus Nürnberg (EnCN). In his research, he focuses on topics related to the electricity market, such as modeling market designs, transmission grid expansions, the application of flexibility options to reduce congestion management and the connection between game theory and agents’ behavior on electricity markets.
