Dr. Jonas Egerer
About
Jonas Egerer holds a master degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University Dresden. He received his Doctorate in Economics from the Technical University Berlin in 2016. During his doctorate, he worked as research associate in the Workgroup for Infrastructure Policy (Technical University Berlin) and in the Energy, Transportation, Environment Department (DIW Berlin) and did research stays at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Florence School of Regulation (European University Institute), and the ICAI School of Engineering (Universidad Pontificia Comillas). From January 2017 to September 2024, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Economic Theory at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and as senior researcher at the Energie Campus Nürnberg. Since October 2024, he is part of the Energy Systems and Market Design Lab at the University of Technology Nuremberg.
