About

I have been a PhD student as a member of the RTG: RTG 2853 Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action since October 2023. I am cosupervised by Eddy Ilg and Mariya Toneva. My current research focuses on developing neuroexplict vision-language models. An additional goal of my research is to study how these models align with human brain activity.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Brandeis University, and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Saarland University. For my Master’s thesis, I investigated techniques for integrating quantum computing into computer vision.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, playing chess, and playing the piano works of Claude Debussy.
