All for One and One for All. Sustainable Development Goals for the Future
Date: 26. February 2025Time: 18:15 – 19:45Location: UTN Campus, Cube One (Ground Floor, Dr.-Luise-Herzberg-Straße 4, 90461 Nuremberg)
What are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? How do we measure countries progress? How do they aim to address global challenges like poverty, inequality, and climate change? Can all countries, given their unique circumstances, realistically achieve these goals on their own?
This lecture explores the interconnected nature of the SDGs and highlights the disparities between the Global South and Global North countries in their progress. We will discuss the role of international collaboration and shared accountability in overcoming barriers and accelerating progress. Can we individually reach the SDGs by 2030, or do we need a reimagined global approach?
