Rethinking university: UTN offers this unique opportunity.
In an interdisciplinary environment, we combine engineering with the humanities, natural and social sciences in the two departments of Engineering and Liberal Arts and Sciences. Each professorship is initially assigned to a department. However, the members of the departments also research and teach together across departmental boundaries.
Due to the international orientation of the university, teaching is predominantly in English. In addition, the UTN concept focuses on digital forms of teaching and learning, pioneering research topics and innovative transfer to business and society.
