Today, the University of Technology Nuremberg visited the Bavarian Parliament. On the second floor of the Maximilianeum, Founding President Prof. Hans Jürgen Prömel, Founding Vice President Prof. Isa Jahnke, Kanzler Dr. Markus Zanner and Founding Chair Prof. Wolfram Burgard introduced the concept of the newly founded university to interested members of the Bavarian Parliament. The presentation focussed on the sustainable building concept of the campus, the UTN School of Students and Young Researchers (StaRs) and the objectives and stakes of the first department.
For Founding President Prof. Prömel, the event was an ideal platform for an open exchange: “We value the dialog with political, business and academic stakeholders. Against this background, we are happy that our visit to the Bavarian Parliament was met with so much interest and that we had the opportunity for in-depth discussions.”
