Applied Discrete Mathematics Lab

Prof. Dr. Christoph Hertrich

Das Applied Discrete Mathematics Lab verbindet Grundlagenforschung in diskreter Mathematik und theoretischer Informatik mit Anwendungen in praxisrelevanten Themenfeldern wie Optimierung und maschinellem Lernen. Ein aktueller Schwerpunkt des Labs ist es, das mathematische Verständnis künstlicher neuronaler Netze mithilfe von Methoden der Polyedertheorie und der kombinatorischen Optimierung voranzubringen.
